Online Couples Therapy in Massachusetts and Connecticut

When communication breaks down, it often isn’t about the surface issue, but the pattern underneath it.

Couples therapy offers a space to slow down, understand those patterns, and begin to shift to ways you relate and connect to one another

Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck.

You may find yourselves having the same argument over and over, unsure how it starts or how to stop it. You may feel distance where there was once closeness. Or you may be navigating a transition that is putting pressure on the relationship.

Even when both people care deeply, it can be difficult to change patterns without support.

What I Help With

I work with couples navigating:

  • recurring conflict and communication break down

  • emotional and/ or physical distance or disconnection

  • trust issues or ruptures

  • life transitions impacting the relationship

  • separation, discernment and co- parenting

How I work with Couples

My approach is relational and psychodynamic.

This means we focus not only on what is happening in the moment, but also on the deeper patterns that shape how each of you respond, communicates and connects.

In our work together, we:

  • identify the patterns you get stuck in

  • slow down interactions so they can be understood more clearly

  • explore each partner’s emotional experience

  • begin to shift how you communicate and respond to one another

This is not about assigning blame.

It is about understanding the dynamic you are both part of, and how to change it.
